How to Check & Pay UPPCL Electricity Bill Online

Complete step-by-step instructions for checking and paying your bill using rural 10-digit IDs, urban 12-digit IDs, UPI, and official UPPCL portals.

1

Understanding Your Consumer Account Number

To view or pay your bill online, you need your unique UPPCL Account ID. In Uttar Pradesh, account IDs differ based on whether your connection is rural or urban:

🌾 Rural Consumers (ग्रामीण उपभोक्ता)

Rural consumers now have a 10-digit Account ID. UPPCL migrated all legacy 12-digit rural numbers to 10 digits under the unified billing system.

Format: 10 Digits (e.g. 5421098765)

🏙️ Urban Consumers (शहरी उपभोक्ता)

Urban city consumers use a 12-digit Account ID or their Service Connection Number (SCN) printed on the top-right of your paper bill or SMS.

Format: 12 Digits (e.g. 123456789012)
Forgot your Account Number? Visit the official UPPCL portal consumer.uppcl.org and click "Know Your Account Number". Enter your registered mobile number or old account number to retrieve your current ID immediately.
